Basic WhatsApp text formatting option are available in flow editor. Refer this article for more details

Text Formatting​

1 . User * to make the text bold. - Bold

2 . User _ to make the text italic. Italic

Add Emojis​

Generally, all browser provide Emojis extension. Once you have added the extension, you can add emojis with right click in the text editor of message.
